Value of the UChicago Program

The University of Chicago Medicine’s PGY1 resident program has many opportunities for career development. Working side-by-side with highly experienced medical professionals with a diverse patient population allows valuable experience treating patient populations you might not see at other institutions. UChicago has numerous opportunities to hone teaching and mentoring skills which is one of my favorite parts of this program.
